Dal Baati Churma
Perhaps, the most common element of Rajasthani cuisine, no meal is complete in the State without Dal Baati Churma. The round baatis are dipped in dollops of ghee and are paired with panchkuti dal and churma.
Laal Maas
Found commonly across restaurants, this non-vegetarian dish is a household favorite. The spicy curry gets its fiery flavour and color from red chilies and is best paired with bajri roti.
Besan Gatta
Besan Gatta curry is gram flour dumplings in curd curry. The dish is an integral part of Rajasthani Thali and can also be had with bati or roti.
Dilkushar
This traditional sweet dish is also known as besan ki chakki. It is made of gram flour and has a nice chewy texture and is widely available in sweet shops.
Mawa Kachori
This version of kachori is stuffed with dry fruits and khoya and is deep fried. It is usually had after lunch or dinner and is dipped in sugar syrup.
